VISTULA SUNKEN TREASURES

The film  is telling the story of the sculptures lying for 350 years at the bottom of Vistula river. The three-years long expedition organized by University of Warsaw which followed historical sources found localization of one of sunken barges. Scientists team, whose members were both directors Marcin Jamkowski and Konstanty Kulik, pulled out almost 100 valuable architectural elements. Discovered treasures are the only art objects saved in 17th-century Warsaw. The special permanent museum exposition is being prepared for them.

The film had its World Premiere at The Explorers Club headquarter in New York. The Polish premiere took place at the Royal Castle in Warsaw.
